V109. Video Demonstration: The Impulse-Momentum Theorem
The photo to the right shows a soccer ball smashed in a kick. The photo was taken with a film camera and printed with no manipulation of the image. According to the impulse-momentum theorem, the product of the average force of impact and the duration of the collision is equal to the change of momentum of the ball.
